SALT LAKE CITY -- There are two additional confirmed cases of the Equine Herpes Virus in Utah.
The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food confirmed that, as of 6 p.m. Friday, one horse in each of two different facilities tested positive for the virus. One of the facilities is in Weber County and the other is in Kane County.
Both facilities were on a hold order as of Friday evening. They will now be placed on quarantine for at least four weeks.
