Scout project: Soccer training hits the web

OGDEN -- When Braxton Ferrin, 13, was looking around for an Eagle Scout project, he decided he wanted it to be related to his passion for soccer. He'd had the opportunity to play on a competition team for nine years, but he knew not everyone had that. So after looking at maybe revamping soccer fields and discussing a few other soccer-related ideas, he came up with the idea to make training videos and make them available to everyone.

Ferrin's father, Alan Ferrin, said that when Braxton first began researching available soccer training videos, there were a lot of YouTube videos, but none like what Braxton wanted to make.
