Utah State seeks summer high school interns

LOGAN — Utah State University is accepting applications for the Chemistry/Biochemistry Summer Internship for high school students.

The application deadline is Friday.

The internship, a four-day study program, June 7 through 10, will allow aspiring chemists to participate in research. The internship is open to high school students who have completed at least one year of high school chemistry. Participants are selected based on a written statement of interest. Cost is $50, which includes campus meals, housing, materials and recreational activities.

Internship applications are available by email through alvan.hengge@usu.edu; or online at www.chem.usu.edu (click on the “More information and application form” link, left side of screen, beneath the “Find us on Facebook” icon.
