Jul 2 2011 - 10:24pm

FARMINGTON -- Davis School District has a new website called "Centennial Celebration."

Visitors can view the district's history, a timeline of school buildings, school histories and other informational items at www.davis.k12.ut.us/dsd/Centennial.

Throughout the school year, the district will post school events, photo slide shows, news stories and other materials related to the Centennial Celebration on the website.

Residents are asked to share memories of attending a Davis School District school, such as a favorite teacher, a prank that has lived in people's memories, or a championship football game.

Also, the district would like to recognize graduates who have made noteworthy accomplishments in their chosen career field. Biographies and photos can be submitted at the website and a committee will consider submissions.

Materials may be submitted by contacting Suzanne Cottrell, Centennial Committee Chair, at 801-402-5173, sucottrell@dsdmail.net, or P.O. Box 588, Farmington, UT 84025.
