EnableUtah seeks community support

OGDEN -- EnableUtah opened a new Community Services Center last month, located at 2890 South 1900 West in Ogden at the Wheelwright Conference Center.

The new center will be the day program provider for up to 60 adults with disabilities.

Additionally, the center will house job coaches who work with individuals with disabilities to secure productive employment in the community.

EnableUtah board names Clark chairman

OGDEN — Gabriel S. Clark was installed as the new board chairman of EnableUtah at the organization’s annual meeting.

Clark is employed as a general counsel for Academica West, a charter school management company.

Clark is a graduate of Utah State University and BYU Law School.

(ERIN HOOLEY) Sandra Leavitt works at EnableUtah in Ogden with her service dog, Nikki. Leavitt has epilepsy and 4-year-old Nikki can detect when she may be having a seizure and call for help. She is also trained to roll Leavitt over to keep her breathing if she ends up in an awkward position.
