Natural gas station to open in Uintah County

SALT LAKE CITY — A gas station for natural gas vehicles will open in Naples next week.

The gas station will be the fourth public natural gas vehicle station to open in Utah this year.

Uintah County commissioners have been working to open the station for two years. Funding for the station comes from Questar, Western Petroleum, a federal grant and the Utah Clean Cities Coalition.

The Naples location is intended to help to promote interstate CNG travel to Colorado.
