FRUIT HEIGHTS — More face time for Davis County animal shelter dogs and cats, both in the community and online, has pet adoptions moving faster than a greyhound.

Horse put down after hit by truck on Washington Blvd.

OGDEN — A loose horse from Harrisville caused a traffic accident in Ogden just after 10 p.m. Sunday.

An 8-year-old paint mare, due to foal next month, suffered fatal injuries and was put down soon after the accident.
