CLEARFIELD -- The Easter Bunny is scheduled to visit Clearfield city on Saturday.
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10 a.m., rain or shine, in Fisher Park, 934 S. 1000 East, just behind the Clearfield City Aquatic Center.
Hunters should arrive at the park no later than 9:50 a.m. to get to the designated age group areas before the hunt begins.
American Legion Post No. 134 in Clearfield has volunteered to help the Easter Bunny in preparing and hiding more than 10,000 plastic Easter eggs throughout the park. The city-sponsored egg hunt is free to children 10 and younger, with five age divisions being assigned to specific areas of the park. The divisions include an area set up for children with special needs.
Each plastic Easter egg is filled with a pre-wrapped candy or a special prize that may be claimed at one of the local merchants sponsoring the egg hunt. The event is free to all children; however, concessions such as hot chocolate, coffee and donuts will be available for a small price.
