LINDON -- The Utah Highway Patrol says a man and a woman in their 70s were killed and four other people were hurt in a crash on Interstate 15 in Utah County.
Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Cameron Roden says a bread delivery truck slammed into a Jeep Cherokee that became disabled on the freeway about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday near Lindon.
The elderly occupants of the Cherokee were killed, while a man driving the Cherokee and two children received unspecified injuries. The truck driver was also hurt.
The road was closed for several hours during the morning commute while troopers investigated and cleared the accident scene.
