Part-time Centerville resident got kicks on dance show

Mollee Gray had a great run, and touring as a professional dancer is a heck of a consolation prize.

But the Utah native and part-time Centerville resident did get eliminated Wednesday night from "So You Think You Can Dance," a Fox Television competition show in which she made the Top 8.

Gray, 18, split her high school years between her mother's house in Orem and the Centerville home of her father, Sean Gray.

Sean Gray said he talked to his daughter almost every night during the competition. He said she always mentioned being grateful for the opportunities the show gave her.

And the opportunities continue.

Mollee Gray will be a featured dancer in the show's upcoming multicity dance tour.

Rehearsals begin in January.
