The world of Hers is expanding once again

Last fall, we went from a bimonthly publication to monthly. With this issue, we launch a companion Web site, www.hersutah.com.

There, you will find not only the content from this and previous Hers sections, but also new stories each day to help you manage and enjoy life.

The topics? Everything from making fashion statements to getting food on the table. We'll cover health and fitness issues of particular interest to women, relationships and parenting, work and leisure, staying home and going out.

And we hope to provide some fun distractions along the way.

The Standard-Examiner Hers section will continue on its monthly schedule, the second Tuesday of each month. The Web site will be evolving, adding calendars and other features, and tweaking others.

And here's the most important thing: We want you to become involved. We can't do it without you. We want to hear your voices on the Web site as well. Comment on our stories. Tell us what you think.

Let's get a conversation going in our community.

In this month's issue of Hers:

  • What are you toting?
  • Josi Kilpack's culinary mysteries
  • Healthy recipe makeovers
  • Improving a child's self-esteem
  • Perimenopause
  • Music by Cherie Call
  • Reasons to celebrate
