AARP Tax-Aide, the largest free tax-preparation service in the country, is looking for volunteer tax counselors to prepare basic income taxes at no charge for seniors and low- and moderate-income taxpayers from Feb. 1-April 15. This community service is provided at local senior centers or libraries. Basic tax knowledge and computer literacy is required, and Spanish speakers are needed. Antelope Island State Park is home to bison, bighorn sheep, pronghorn, mule deer, many migratory birds, birds of prey, coyote, bobcat and rabbits and more. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah matches low income single parent children (ages 6-12) with caring adult volunteer mentors.
