Brigham City student troupe will be presenting 'The Will'
BRIGHAM CITY -- Fine Arts Center Entertainers, a high school student theater troupe, will present "The Will," opening on Thursday.
"The Will" tells a story of a group of strangers summoned to the mansion of Jock Muckhousen for the reading of his will. A lawyer informs members of the group they have to spend a night in the haunted house to win the inheritance. Each guest quickly devises a plan to scare the others into fleeing.
The audience will participate in the show by solving a riddle, and locating a key.
Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4 and 6 at the Fine Arts Center, 58 S. 100 West. Tickets are $5, $4 for students. Call 435-723-0740 for information.
St. Joseph High School hosting 'An Evening of Shakespeare'
OGDEN -- St. Joseph High School's theater department will host "An Evening of Shakespeare" on Thursday.
Performances will include scenes by students who competed at the Utah Shakespearean Festival High School Competition in October in Cedar City. Money raised by "An Evening of Shakespeare" will go toward funding the trip for next fall's student trip to the festival. The Utah Shakespearean Festival recently changed its name to The Utah Shakespeare Festival.
"An Evening of Shakespeare" guests will be offered coffee and desserts. The program begins at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Black Box Theatre at the school, 1791 Lake St. Tickets are $10, $5 for students. RSVPs are appreciated, at www.sjchtheatre.webs.com or 801-394-1515, ext. 227.
