Defensive driving classes offered by Utah Safety Council, four-hour defensive driving courses for individuals in the Ogden area, 8 a.m.-noon, two Saturdays per month; 6-10 p.m., one Tuesday per month. Free veterans benefits seminar at The Harrison Regent retirement community, 2:30 p.m., 4481 Harrison Blvd. The seminar will shed light on the Veterans Administration Aid and Attendance Pension benefit, which provides eligible wartime veterans and surviving spouses with a significant tax-free monthly income, ranging from $1,056 to $2,582.
