Ceramics Guild sells two kinds of pottery
LOGAN — Utah State University’s Ceramics Guild is holding its annual holiday sale from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Saturday.
Shoppers will find functional pottery, such as mugs, plates, bowls and teapots. There will also be decorative pottery, including sculptural vases and wall hangings.
The artists will accept cash or checks, and sales will be used to support guild initiatives. Past sales have helped buy a clay mixer and send students to the National Ceramics Conference.
The holiday sale is in the Ceramic Studio of the Chase Fine Arts Center, at 1200 E. 400 North, Logan.

Indoor yard sale set for Saturday
OGDEN — Fanatic yard-sale shoppers need not despair that cold weather has cut out their hobby.
A countywide indoor yard sale is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Golden Spike Event Center, 1000 N. 1200 West.
A variety of new and used items will be sold, including furniture, candles, Christmas crafts — even a carousel horse. Admission is free.
