Stuffed backpacks donated to shelter

Ogden Clinic and 4TheSolution.org have partnered again to donate and distribute more than 1,000 backpacks filled with necessities to Utah’s needy this holiday season. The care packages were distributed Tuesday afternoon at the Ogden Rescue Mission.

Extra backpacks remaining after the initial distribution will be delivered to homeless shelters in Salt Lake City before Christmas.

Backpacks were for male and female adults as well as children and infants. The essential items found in the backpacks include hygiene products, hats, gloves, scarves, socks and additional items required to keep the homeless warm and healthy. This is the second time the two organizations have partnered to provide for Utah’s needy.
