LOGAN -- Pickleville Playhouse is reviving its hit show "Bandito Rides Again" Saturday and Monday in the Eccles Conference Center, 550 N. 950 East, Utah State University.
In this high-energy melodrama, Juanito Bandito and his outlaw gang join forces with a self-proclaimed wicked witch to fend off a band of pirates seeking revenge on their mutinous ex-captain. A handsome cowboy hero and a savvy damsel in distress also get in on the fun in this popular show, which has become a tradition at the playhouse.
The original script and score were written by Logan resident and producer T.J. Davis, who also plays Juanito Bandito.
"This has been one of the most well-received shows we've ever had at Pickleville," said Andrea Davis, who directed the show. "Adults, kids, grandpas and grandmas ... they've all seemed to enjoy it. It's just a great night of fun, clean, hilarious family entertainment."
Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and Monday with a 3 p.m. matinee on Saturday. An optional Sweetheart's Buffet catered by The Copper Mill is available at 6 p.m. before the evening shows.
Tickets for just the show are $16 for adults, $10 for children (age 11 and under). Dinner and the show cost $31 for adults, $19 for children. Tickets can be purchased by calling (435) 755-0968. Visit www.picklevilleplayhouse.com for more information.
