Mississippi College notes President's List
CLINTON, Miss. -- The Office of Academic Affairs at Mississippi College released has named Jessica R. Torick of Pleasant View to the list of academic scholars for the 2010 fall semester.
To be eligible for the President's List, a student must maintain a 4.0 or "straight As," based on a 4.0 system. The student must take a full course load of at least 12 semester hours of undergraduate credit with all academic courses impacting their grade point average.
Ogden student earns honors at Arizona
PRESCOTT, Ariz. -- Prescott College announces that Kimberly Sieb, of Ogden, Utah, was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies & Holistic Health on Dec. 19. Prescott College offers a resident B.A. program at its main campus in Prescott.
North Ogden student awarded BS degree
MENOMONIE, Wis. -- Daniel McGillivray of North Ogden, Utah, graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout, Menomonie, in December 2010.
UW-Stout, Wisconsin's polytechnic university, is a special mission university in the UW System. McGillivray graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in management.
University of Wyoming honors Ogden student
LARAMIE, Wyo. -- The University of Wyoming announced that Janel Hall of Ogden, Utah, student was included on the 2010 fall semester Provost's Honor Roll.
The Provost's Honor Roll consists of undergraduates who have completed at least six but fewer than 12 hours with a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester.
Local students earn honors in Wyoming
ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. -- Western Wyoming Community College announces area residents who graduated from WWCC and those who were named on the honor roll.
Kathryn Parkin from Odgen graduated with an Associate of Arts after the fall 2010 semester.
Students named to the WWCC Dean's Honor Roll are full-time students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours during the semester with a letter grade and with a grade point average between 3.25 and 3.99. Local honorees are Jessica Himelright from Farr West; Alissa Willard from Roy; Candace Clifford from South Weber; and Kristen Kubiak from Syracuse.
