The city council granted both preliminary and final site approval for a plan to develop professional office space on the northeast corner of 500 South and 100 East.
The council voted unanimously at a recent meeting to approve the proposal from Todd McCormick to convert four existing structures, three of which were originally built as single family homes, into professional offices. The area is zoned PO-N, professional office and neighborhood zone. The project will be known as the McArthur Park Office Plaza.
The site is approximately two-thirds of an acre in size and the four existing buildings comprise approximately 8,000 gross square feet, according to Aric Jensen, director of Planning and Economic Development.
