Caine Lyric curtain goes up on 'Winnie the Pooh'
LOGAN -- Unicorn Children's Theatre is presenting an adaptation of "Winnie the Pooh" in the Caine Lyric Theatre, 28 W. Center St.
This presentation will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through April 30, with a matinee at 2 p.m. on April 30. The cast includes 25 people; 16 are local children.
"Winnie the Pooh" is based on the classic book by A.A. Milne and tells the story of Christopher Robin and his best friend Winnie the Pooh.

Ballroom students put on their dancing shoes
ROY -- More than 400 students will waltz their way around the Roy High School stage on Saturday.
Davis County Ballroom presents its spring concert at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the school, 2150 W. 4800 South.
The program features 135 dancers from age 5 to 18, performing a variety of steps at levels ranging from beginning to advanced.
Joining the Layton-based company will be fifth- and sixth-grade students who participate in early-morning ballroom classes at their schools.
The 2 p.m. show includes students from Bluff Ridge Elementary in Syracuse, Morgan Elementary in Kaysville and Sand Springs Elementary in Layton. At 4 p.m., dancers from Endeavour Elementary in Kaysville, Cook Elementary in Syracuse and East Layton Elementary in Layton will perform.
Admission is $4; children age 2 and under are admitted for free.
