Sons of Pioneers invite seminarian

The Ogden Pioneer Chapter “Sons of the Utah Pioneers” is meeting at noon Monday at Comfort Suites Inn, 2250 S. 1200 West. The speaker will be David H. Jacobs, who will discuss LDS Church doctrine in early New York.

Jacobs received his Masters degree at BYU and taught LDS seminary for 8 years, then taught LDS Institute for 30 years in California and Utah, retiring as associate director at Weber State University. He married the former Bonnie Draper and has four children and 12 grandchildren. He and his wife lead LDS Church History tours each summer.

Join us for a good dinner, excellent associates and an outstanding program.

Potential members are welcome. The cost of one meeting for potential members is paid for by the chapter. For other guests there is a $12.50 charge for this meal
