* Author and pyschotherapist Kate Levinson discusses and signs her new book "Emotional Currency: A Woman's Guide to Building a Healthy Relationship with Money" (Celestial Arts, $14.99) at 7 p.m. Thursday.

* Utah author and poet Emma Lou Thayne reads from and signs "The Place of Knowing: A Spiritual Autobiography" (iUniverse.com, $20.95) at 2 p.m. Saturday.

* Lindsey Leavitt, author of the Princess For Hire series and "Sean Griswold's Head," reads from and signs her new novel for young adults, "The Royal Treatment" (Hyperion Book. $16.99), at 4 p.m. Saturday.

These are free events at the bookshop, 1511 S. 1500 East, Salt Lake City.
