Sons of Utah Pioneers to discuss Japan

The Ogden Pioneer Chapter "Sons of the Utah Pioneers" meets at noon Monday at Comfort Suites Inn, 2250 S. 1200 West.

Speaker Elder Yoshihiko Kikuchi will discuss "The Growth of the LDS Church in Japan." Kikuchi, a native of Japan, is a member of the First Quorum of Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. He was called into full-time church service Oct. 1, 1977 after serving as regional manager for Rena-Ware Distributors Co. for Japan. He is presently an assistant executive director in the Temple Department.

Potential members are welcome to attend. The cost of one meeting for potential members is paid for by the Chapter. For other guests there is a $12.50 charge.
