lSEnS"Final Salute," the reading discussion series at Brigham City Library, continues at 7 p.m. Thursday with "Band of Sisters: American Women at War in Iraq" by Kirsten A. Holmstedt. The discussion will be led by Kathryn MacKay, a professor of history at Weber State University in Ogden. The discussion is free and open to the public at the library, 26 E. Forest, Brigham City.
l Wyoming author Craig Johnson will read from and sign "Hell Is Empty" (Penguin Publishing, $12.99) at 7 p.m. Thursday at The King's English Bookshop, 1511 S. 1500 East, Salt Lake City. This is a free event.
