OGDEN -- A group of 15 or more gang members beat three men who complained about a botched car-repair job Sunday, sending one to a hospital, police said.

Police got a report about an altercation at 850 E. 1050 North, said Ogden Police Lt. Tony Fox. About 8 p.m., the driver of a brown Jeep tried to run someone over, but missed and hit a telephone pole.
CLEARFIELD — Jay Jones is still shocked that a shooting that left four teenagers wounded happened right behind his house. “This is a quiet neighborhood,” Jones said as he stood in his backyard, looking at the house to the west of his, where a party brought in police from several agencies early Saturday morning.

HARRISVILLE -- Police are investigating a fight involving 15 to 20 people in which four people were injured.
Someone who was involved in the fight at an apartment complex near 1400 North and 900 West called police around 2 a.m. Sunday. But by the time the Weber County Sheriff's deputies arrived, all of the suspects had left the scene, police said.
