'Particle Matter 2.5,' 'EcoVisionaries' open
LOGAN -- Two new exhibits open Tuesday at Utah State University's Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art.
Paul Muller has been making photographs for most of his life. The cameras have changed over the years, but his love of capturing beautiful images hasn't.
August is drawing to a close, and so are the art exhibits in Ogden's galleries. New exhibits open Sept. 3, during the First Friday Art Stroll.
Tââââhis year's Ogden Symphony Ballet Association lineup includes classical composers Stravinsky, Mozart and Tchaikovsky, as well as popular tunes inspired by L. Frank Baum's "Oz" books.
The featured international artist at Summerfest is Luis Jofre Pizarro, of Santiago, Chile, who creates watercolor paintings and acrylic abstracts.

BOUNTIFUL -- Beginning Wednesday through Pioneer Day, the Bountiful/Davis Art Center will host the entries in the Arts & Crafts contest, a part of Bountiful Handcart Days.

Ogden's First Friday Art Stroll starts at 6 p.m. next Friday, with many of the galleries staying open until 9 p.m. to allow art lovers to check out the new exhibits and meet the artists after regular hours.
