Fire destroys home in Box Elder county

BEAVER DAM -- A fire destroyed a home in Box Elder county while the homeowner was away at work on Tuesday morning, according to fire officials.

The blaze was reported around 9:20 a.m. at 15370 N. 400 West. Fielding Volunteer Fire Department arrived first to find the house fully engulfed in flames. Engines from five other agencies were called in to fight the fire.

Officials say the home is a total loss. The fire is still under investigation and so far there is no indication of a suspicious cause.
