DRAPER -- Fire officials say a bundle of legal fireworks started a grass fire between two housing developments in Draper.
Unified Fire Authority Capt. Clint Smith says investigators determined that someone taped together legal fireworks to try to create something bigger.
The fire started around 1:15 a.m. Monday and burned in a steep and rugged area. Smith says the fire started about 200 feet from townhouses but quickly moved away from them.
Smith says fireworks are banned in the area because of fire danger.
