Stolen truck, gun found in Wyoming

PINEDALE, WYO. — Sublette County Sheriff’s officers have recovered a stolen Chevy pickup truck and .22-caliber handgun that were reported stolen out of Weber County.

They are holding Brandon K. Marion in Sublette County Jail for possession of the stolen vehicle and handgun after they found the car stuck in the snow near Pinedale, Wyo., on Wednesday. They were stolen from Ogden Canyon sometime the weekend of Jan. 15, said Weber County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ryon Hadley.

Weber County detectives will interview and attempt to extradite Marion back to Utah today, Hadley said. He could face felony theft and burglary charges, pending the investigation, he said.

Marion also had a misdemeanor warrant out of Salt Lake City, Hadley said.
