Man who predicted end of world humble after last failure

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Harold Camping, the 90-year-old Oakland minister who incorrectly predicted the end of the world twice this year, conceded that his latest forecast may have shone an unwanted light on himself and his radio station.

Doomsday pastor's radio show to go off the air

OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Christian radio station belonging to Harold Camping, who twice incorrectly predicted the world would end, plans to replace his weekday segment Open Forum with new programming after rebroadcasting the last show he recorded before suffering a stroke on June 9.

Failed 'Rapture' preacher recovering from stroke

LOS ANGELES -- Family Radio Network minister Harold Camping, who inaccurately predicted the "Rapture," is resting in a hospital after having a mild stroke, a spokeswoman said Monday.
