Justin Pope, from Logan, was eliminated from NBC's "The Biggest Loser: Couples" on Tuesday night. He asked to be voted off to save teammate Courtney Crozier from elimination.
Pope entered the show with an initial weigh-in of 365 pounds. NBC aired an update that he is now at 225 pounds. He still has a chance to win $100,000 that is given to the eliminated contestant with the most weight loss by the May 24 finale.
He entered the competition with his friend Rulon Gardner, Olympic gold medalist wrestler from the 2000 Sydney Games. Gardner, who also lives in Logan, remained in the competition.
"The Biggest Loser" airs on KSL at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
