Get pampered, educated at Just for Hers Women's Fair at Weber State

OGDEN -- Women across the Top of Utah have a chance Friday to craft, listen to motivational speakers, eat and be pampered for a day at the Just for Her Women's Fair at Weber State University's Shepherd Union Building.

Ruth Kendrick admits she's turning to the dark side.

"I used to be more of a milk-chocolate lover, but I'm going more to the dark side," she said, explaining that dark chocolates have more complex flavors. "Your tongue picks up different flavors in different places, so some chocolates just almost dance around your mouth."

Jana Whitby is ready for her third straight Ogden Marathon with only one goal -- no more brain surgery.

The marathon has served as a victory parade for Whitby. The actual battles occurred at home and in the hospital, her scars showing up as long circular cuts along the side of her scalp.
