Weber State Hill Appreciation Night
Weber State University is holding a Hill Appreciation Night football game Nov. 14. Tickets to the game, in which the Weber State Wildcats face the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, may be purchased from Information, Tickets and Travel for $2 apiece.

Active duty invited to Veterans Ball
Included within those eligible to attend the Veterans Ball, a special invitation is issued to all active duty military personnel and any members of the public who are interested in attending an event on Veterans Weekend, Nov. 6 and 7.
The ball, to be held at the Ogden Marriott Hotel on Nov. 6, will begin with a social hour at 7 p.m. and entertainment from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. provided by the Junction City Big Band.
Tickets cost $15 per person or $25 per couple.
A parade in honor of veterans will be held Nov. 7 at 11:11 a.m. with an F-16 flyover from Hill Air Force Base. The parace will begin at 18th Street and Washington Boulevard and end at 23rd Street and Lindquist Field after a right turn on 23rd Street from Washington Boulevard.
A celebration will follow at Lindquist Field to honor those who have served and those who are currently serving in the U.S. armed forces.

Unlicensed child care reminder
Operating a Family Child Care home is a privilege granted by the support group commander.
All persons providing child care in their home for more than 10 hours per week must be licensed. Unlicensed child care is a violation of base regulations and may result in the loss of base housing privileges.
If you suspect someone of providing unlicensed child care please call (801) 777-0695, a child's well being may depend on your call.
German National Day of Mourning
The German American community and the German air force will perform a common ceremony in Salt Lake City for "Volkstrauertag" which is similar to the American Memorial Day in part.
A ceremony will take place beginning at 9:45 a.m. in the parking lot in front of the east entrance of Fort Douglas Cemetery.
A ceremonial walk will take place among the graves at 10 a.m.
A program will begin at 10:10 a.m. with a performance of the choir "Harmonie" and a German liaison officer will speak. The ceremony will include the placing of a wreath and the public is invited.
Women's Program manager needed
Personnel officials are seeking applicants for a collateral duty position, Federal Women's Program Manager. The position closes Nov. 25. As a collateral duty position, the employee will perform the duty in addition to regularly assigned responsibilities. Duties with the position should constitute 20 percent of assigned duty time.
