Year of the Air Force Family: Air Force families with kids find resources

Bundles for Babies, a class on what to expect if you're expecting ... through the Airman and Family Readiness Center, Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Call (801) 777-4681 to register for a preview of car seat safety, family life, finances, feeding and all things baby. Active duty Air Force families will receive a free $70 layette from the Air Force Aid Society.

The Family Fitness Area in the Hess Center, Building 520, has a play area so that parents can exercise while keeping an eye on their children.

Reminders of the rules to help safeguard health are in effect. If children are displaying symptoms of a contagious illness they may not use the playroom. This includes the instances when they did not attend school or daycare for reasons of illness. Children must remain in the play area. If children leave the area to use the restroom they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to keep appropriate safeguards.
