Class gets back to basics for PT

Having trouble passing your Physical Training test? Do you want to improve your current PT score? Come to the 6 a.m. Fitness Improvement Program Workout, Monday through Thursday in the Bubble for a half-hour class. The class incorporates every part of the PT test in order to help improve scores and gets back to the basics.

The high intensity circuit training workout involves ten stations which work upper body, lower body and abs that class members repeat two times. In between each station members do ten push-ups or ten sit-ups. Once a week the class will run a mile and a half.

This class is only for those who are active duty and participants can attend as many times as they like.

This class can also help members who are on profile or exempt for PT because they can still participate in the workout with modifications in movements as directed by the instructor.

The only requirement for participation is to send an e-mail to Jessica.rees@hill.af.mil as part of securing a slot in the class. Rees needs to know how many people to expect so she can prepare the Bubble appropriately.

Students can also call her at (801) 777-2762 to get on the roster.
