Operation Purple Camps for families with deployed spouses or parents

The Teton Science Schools in Jackson, Wyo., and the National Military Family Assocation are now hosting Operation Purple Camps and Operation Purple Family Retreats for families with deployed spouses or parents or for families whose spouse or parent has recently returned home.

The camps are open to military children of all ranks and services. The retreats are for service members and their families who have been deployed within the last three to 15 months. Both the camps and retreats are free and cost of travel may be refunded.

The next dates for the family retreat are July 2 through July 6, and registration for these dates and the camps will begin on March 15.

For more information on these or other family retreats and camps, please contact the Airman and Family Readiness Center at (801) 777-4681 or visit the NMFA's Web site at www.militaryfamily.org.
