Air Force Gallery Showcase: Limit of three entries per person in the following categories: Photography or Artist-Craftsman
Entries must be submitted on a CD to the Arts and Crafts Center, Building 534.
They must be in a JPEG format, size 5" x 7", no larger than 450 pixels at the longest end.
Entries will be taken beginning Aug. 6 through Sept. 10.

22nd Annual Rod Run -- Aug. 15, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Centennial Park. Pre-registration, before Aug. 12: $20 and on-site: $25. Free Admission for spectators, bring the whole family.
Registration fee includes T- shirt and dash plaque.
Awards will be presented in 26 categories.
The Rod Run is great fun for family and car enthusiasts.
Beginning woodworking/furniture making, begins Aug. 6, Friday night class for six weeks, 6 p.m., $85 per student, materials not included in class fee with Chris Symes as instructor
Glass fusing class, Aug. 9, class is for three weeks, $150 includes all fees for two to three projects, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Ron Snorgrass is a certified teacher in glass fusion and will be teaching classes. Learn basic construction ... and make some very cool items with glass.
New basics of photography class, two hours for four weeks, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., $50 per student. Students should bring their own equipment. Know your camera, composition Top 10 tips, basic exposure theory, aperture and depth of field, shutter speed and movement, ISO, lighting, flash, white balance, filters, lenses, digital advantage, bracketing, photographing wildlife, people, camera care, digital files, jpg and raw, post production. A new instructor is being sought.
Advanced framing class, Aug. 18, 2:30 p.m., each class will be three hours, $45 per student plus $10 for supplies with Connie Thomas as instructor.
Interior design workshop, on Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., for four weeks, $55 per student, begins Aug. 7, with Patricia Broffel as instructor

Base Auto Mart is designed to assist base personnel in the sale of their vehicles, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles. There is a $10 fee per space, for 14 days, for vehicles smaller than 17 feet long or $ 12.50 per space, 14 days, for vehicles longer than 17 feet in length.
