RMBC to show 'My Search for Messiah' video on Sunday

BRIGHAM CITY — At 6:45 p.m. Sunday, “My Search for Messiah” will be shown at Rocky Mountain Bible Church, 659 N. Main St. in Brigham City.

It features Dr. Michael Rydelnik, the son of Holocaust survivors, who came to faith in Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

The video series, produced by RBC Ministries, was filmed in Israel.

Lawyer-turned-pastor to speak at RMBC on Sunday; 'Search for Messiah' series starting

BRIGHAM CITY — Pastor Kevin Chapman will be speaking Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. worship service of Rocky Mountain Bible Church, 659 N. Main in Brigham City.

Chapman is a graduate of Cooley Law School and Grace Seminary. He practiced as a lawyer before entering pastoral ministry.

Chapman and his wife, Mary Beth, have 11 children. Their daughter Christa Murray and her husband, Jamie, live in Brigham City and serve at RMBC. Currently, the Chapmans’ base for ministry is Santa Fe, N.M.

'Carnival Girl' by Utah writer tells of struggles in post-WWII Germany

PROVO -- Utah author Sonja Herbert, a German immigrant and convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has written "Carnival Girl: Searching for God in the Aftermath of War," scheduled for release in June.

The book describes her struggles growing up in post-WWII Germany and her journey to find faith in her personal memoir, according to a news release from Cedar Fort Publishing.

'Girl Soldier' talk set for Friday at WSU

OGDEN -- Weber State's Center for Diversity & Unity will present a discussion of "Girl Soldier" as part of its Holocaust Remembrance Week.

LDS Church to warn members of proxy baptisms

SALT LAKE CITY  — LDS Church leaders say the church’s policy of not performing posthumous baptisms of Holocaust victims and others unrelated to its members will be reiterated worldwide during Sunday services.
