NOW blasts Hooters for exposing children to salacious atmosphere

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The California chapter of the National Organization for Women asked police Thursday to investigate the hot-wing restaurant Hooters for exposing kids to sex.

NOW said Hooters entertains children in a salacious atmosphere, yet the business doesn't comply with rules that govern sexually oriented establishments, like requirements for security or age restrictions. NOW said it is concerned for the safety and well-being of children who go to the restaurant.
