Abandoned dog rescued from foreclosed home in North Ogden

NORTH OGDEN — A Shih Tzu dog that may have been left to fend for itself inside an abandoned house for nearly two weeks was taken into custody Monday morning by Weber County Animal Control.

Humane society offers reward amid SLC cat killings

MURRAY -- The Humane Society of Utah is offering a $3,000 reward for information in a recent spate of cat killings in the southwestern Salt Lake Valley.

Many items needed for animal shelters

The Humane Society of Northern Utah is collecting much-needed items for local animal shelters and is asking the public for help.

Collection boxes are at Petco and The Little Dog House in Harrisville, John Watson Chevrolet in Ogden and Coldwater Animal Hospital in North Ogden.
