At approximately 3:13 a "Conway" Semi truck pulling a single trailer was struck by a red Peter built Semi pulling an empty tanker trailer after it jack knifed and hit the slower moving Conway trailer.  Both trucks were either in or near the emergency lane when a "CRST" semi pulling a box trailer lost control and jack knifed sliding into the tanker truck.  The driver of the Conway truck is a 34 year old male from SLC, Ut and was transported to the Hospital with facial and head injuries.  The 67 year old female driver of the tanker truck along with her 59 year old husband who had been in the sleeper were transported to the hospital. Ice and slick roads trigger I-84 pileup in Box Elder

TREMONTON-- A series of crashes involving three semitrailers, a passenger car and a Box Elder County Sheriff's patrol vehicle closed I-84 near Tremonton for about four hours early this morning.

One California man has died as a result of a crash involving at least 25 vehicles Saturday morning on westbound Interstate 84 near Mountain Green. The accident began when a double-tanker carrying butane gas jack-knifed on a bridge because of icy conditions. Two semis hit that truck, then at least 22 more vehicles, including another semi, hit the first three semis. Huge crash kills one, closes I-84

MOUNTAIN GREEN — Utah Highway Patrol expects to have a busy time reconstructing and investigating a massive Saturday morning accident involving 24 vehicles.

The accidents on westbound Interstate 84, beginning at Mile Marker 90, critically injured three people and led to one man accidentally slipping off a bridge to his death.

USU researchers examine animal car collisions on I-84

TWIN FALLS, Idaho -- A group of Idaho sportsmen and researchers from Utah State University are working to keep deer and other wildlife off of Interstate 84.

Jack Oyler, vice chairman of Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife-Idaho and a member of a state committee dedicated to reducing wildlife collisions, is heading a study to analyze herd migration patterns near a 10-mile stretch of I-84 near the Utah border.

Injuries minor in I-84 rollover

SNOWVILLE -- A man and two boys were sent to area hospitals Monday afternoon after a rollover on Interstate 84.

When entering a curve, the driver overcorrected, and the Ford F150 drifted across the road and down an embankment, rolling three times and coming to a rest on its wheels.

Uintah residents worry about UDOT's Highway 89 renovations

UINTAH -- Vic Saunders was surrounded by people who did not like what he had to say.

The Utah Department of Transportation spokesman and men from UDOT's project team tried to sell their planned renovations for U.S. Highway 89 to dozens of Uintah residents who turned up Wednesday night for a public meeting at city offices.

A Jeep Liberty crossed the median on I-84 near the Enterprise Road overpass, according to police, and struck a Toyota Camry. The driver of the Jeep, Kanwar Javez of Evanston, Wyo., died at the scene.
