OGDEN -- Many who participated in the book discussion as part of Interfaith Week left the main branch of Weber County Library feeling uplifted and renewed. A panel of religious leaders and about 30 others participated in the annual event as part of the community's interfaith celebration last week.

Interfaith week, month coming to local area

Area residents interested in religious understanding likely will be interested in events starting next week in Ogden and Salt Lake City.

The two series of events will coincide with United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week, which begins Wednesday.

The events also commemorate the 10th year since leaders and representatives from various religions came together in celebration during the 2002 Olympics.
