No settlement in Kim Kardashian-Kris Humphries divorce case

LOS ANGELES —  Attorneys did not reach a settlement in Kim Kardashian’s divorce case after settlement negotiations that were attended by the reality star but not her estranged husband Kris Humphries.

Humphries’ attorneys declined to comment on settlement discussions Friday but said a May 6 trial date remains. A judge sealed settlement discussions, but any agreement would have been put on the record after the hearing.

Kardashian was flanked by deputies as she left the courthouse shortly around noon.

LOS ANGELES — Kim Kardashian’s upcoming divorce trial will be a family affair, but her attorneys do not expect to call her famous sisters to testify about the reality star’s brief marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.

But Kris Jenner, Kardashian’s mother, and several lawyers and managers are expected to testify about the pair’s relationship and prenuptial agreement, according to a witness list filed Monday in Los Angeles.

Judge sets May trial date for Kardashian-Humphries divorce

LOS ANGELES — Kim Kardashian has a due date for her baby and now a trial date for her divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries.

A judge on Friday set a May 6 trial for the reality TV star who wants to end her marriage before July, when her child with Kanye West is due.

Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, 2011, after she and Humphries had been married just 72 days. Their lavish, star-studded nuptials were recorded and broadcast by E! Entertainment Television.

Kardashian-Humphries divorce inches toward trial

LOS ANGELES — Kim Kardashian’s divorce attorney told a judge Wednesday that the reality star wants to move on with her life but is "handcuffed" to her estranged husband because the case is not yet ready for trial.

Superior Court Judge Stephen Moloney told attorneys for Kardashian and NBA player Kris Humphries to return to court in mid-February to set a trial date to either dissolve or annul the couple’s 72-day marriage. He didn’t set a deadline for depositions and other pre-trial investigation to be completed, but indicated a trial could be held early next year if it is ready by Feb. 15.

In a new video clip from E!'s "Khloe and Lamar," the reality TV star said she is "for real" about plans to run for office and will even enlist her friend Noelle Keshishian to help with the campaign.
