Editor,In response to the writer of the Oct. 29 letter, "Store shouldn't have alcohol in Halloween aisle:" To rephrase his words: "...it is unfortunate that [you]...our neighbor, does not hold [himself] to a higher standard." It is this writer I take issue with for using a total non-issue, i.e., product-placement, in a poor attempt to tarnish the store's well earned and deserved image. This Halloween, he should have, at very least, disguised its identity, completely.Sadly, he shows himself to be naive. First, the aisle he described is in almost every store. It is known as the "display aisle." Seasonally, it contains mostly Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and, oh my, even Super Bowl Displays! All displays, therein, are, usually, profitable.
