LAYTON — A man who appeared to be having seizures was booked in jail on suspicion of felony lewdness, police say.

Terrell Christian Sorensen, 40, of Layton, is facing a felony charge because it is the third time he has been arrested for exposing himself, said Layton Police Lt. Garret Atkin.

A customer at Smith’s, 1170 E. Gentile St. in Layton, was returning her shopping cart Tuesday when she saw a man in a car who appeared to be having seizures, Atkin said.

FBI takes interest in sheriff's handling of ex-deputy's alleged misconduct

BRIGHAM CITY — The FBI has taken an interest in former Box Elder County Sheriff’s Deputy Scott Womack’s illicit contact alleged with motorists and how the sheriff’s office reacted to complaints about Womack.

Womack, 36, faces charges against six victims in four courts. The charges include three counts of attempted custodial sexual misconduct and single counts of lewdness and unlawful detention. He was fired a year ago during investigation of the incidents, which are alleged to have occurred in 2010.

Details have emerged chiefly through a federal lawsuit filed against Womack by two women accusing him of coercing them into disrobing to allow him to check for tattoos during traffic stops.

FARMINGTON -- Joseph Winterburn, 34, was arrested Tuesday for exposing himself to several females after he dropped his wife off at work.

Davis County dispatchers began receiving calls Tuesday morning from around the county about a man driving around and exposing himself, said Farmington Police Cpl. Dale Scow. His victims include a 14-year-old girl in Centerville.
