Judge limits Lohan to one guest at a time during house arrest

LOS ANGELES — The party is over for Lindsay Lohan. Angry with paparazzi photos that appear to show the actress partying on the rooftop of her beachfront Venice home, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner told Lohan on Thursday she can no longer entertain more than one guest at a time while she is on house arrest.

Judge tells Lohan: No more parties at house

 

LOS ANGELES -- The house party is over for Lindsay Lohan, at least while she's on house arrest.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner chided Lohan for having rooftop parties at her home while serving house arrest on a probation violation but said the actress hadn't violated any other rules.

"If you are guilty of some violation of your probation, I don't see it," Sautner said. "What you are guilty of is extremely poor judgment."

Lohan tearfully hugged her attorney, Shawn Holley, after the hearing.

Lindsay Lohan's monitoring bracelet malfunctions

 

LOS ANGELES -- Lindsay Lohan's attorney says the actress's electronic monitoring bracelet has been replaced after a malfunction.

Attorney Shawn Holley said Thursday that Lohan's electronic monitoring system went off on Monday.

Holley says a representative from the monitoring company went to Lohan's house in Venice and found her at home. The bracelet was replaced the next day.

Lindsay Lohan says she's glad theft case resolved

 

LOS ANGELES -- A lawyer entered a no contest plea Wednesday for Lindsay Lohan in the theft of a necklace, setting the stage for a summer of confinement, counseling and community service.

Defense attorney Shawn Holley made the plea for the actress, who did not appear in court in the misdemeanor case involving a $2,500 necklace taken from an upscale shop in the Venice area of Los Angeles.

Lohan, 24, did not acknowledge guilt through the plea, but the court will log the case as a conviction.
