Richins will serve as mayor pro tem for a one-year term.

Centerville mayor still on rec board

Mayor Ronald Russell is continuing his duties serving on the South Davis Recreation District Board of Directors.

The city council made the reappointment during its regularly scheduled meeting recently. His term was due to expire Dec. 31. However, with this new appointment, the term will be renewed for another four-year term.

Centerville is allowed to appoint a member to the board who will represent the city.

This appointment was effective immediately after appointment.
