Missing Tucson-area girl found in Texas

TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Pima County Sheriff's Department says a girl reported missing from her Tucson-area home has been found in Texas.

The sheriff's department said Friday that 13-year-old Ashley Kingsbury and 19-year-old Anthony Jordan were located on a Galveston,Texas, beach.

The sheriff's department says a Galveston bank teller recognized the pair and contacted authorities.

Both the girl and the suspect are in Galveston police custody. Charges against Jordan are pending as the investigation continues.

A sheriff's department spokesman says Jordan and the girl had met on a networking web site and had planned to meet last Monday.

The search for the pair also extended to Utah because it was believed Jordan was driving a car with a Utah license plate and may have been headed there.
