It’s been said that the only certainty in life is change, an old saying that applies to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as it continues to grow as a worldwide church.
Several senior members recently took a look back on their experiences with the changes that impacted them the most while growing up in the LDS Church.
Doran Barlow, 93, of Ogden, remembers going to church in a one-room rock church building while growing up in Idaho. There was no baptismal font, so he was baptized in a local river.
