OGDEN -- The Ogden Nature Center goes wild on Wednesdays, with special programs about animals.
Wild Wednesdays start at 3:30 p.m. each week. Admission to the Ogden Nature Center, at 966 W. 12th St., is $2 for children, $3 for seniors and $4 for adults.
* Wednesday -- "Scaley Tales." Touch a tortoise shell, a snake skin and other objects, while learning how reptiles survive cold winters.
* Jan. 12 -- "Wild About Ravens." Learn to tell the difference between ravens and crows, and find out how ravens make and use tools.
* Jan. 19 -- "Eagles in Winter." Meet the Ogden Nature Center's resident bald eagle, Des Ta Te, and find out where other eagles live in Northern Utah.
* Jan. 26 -- "Mammal Mia." Hike with a naturalist to observe live deer.
